  • currently enrolled on BSc, MSc or MBA courses who are working towards a career as a professional estate surveyor.
  • experienced professionals who wish to refresh their knowledge and satisfy their annual CPD requirements.

Albert So Surveyors Ltd. has also been employed by Lands Department and authorities such as Urban Renewal Authority, Hong Kong Housing Society and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited as Land Consultant in various projects.

Sr DR ALBERT SO CHUN-HIN is currently the Vice Chairman of the Planning and Development Division Council (PDD) , Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). His current and past public appointments also include bodies such as the Board of Management of the Chinese Permanent Cemeteries, Appeal Tribunal Panel of Planning and Lands Branch and Heung Yee Kuk as valuation and land consultant.

Sr Dr TC Wong attained his professional qualification as a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2006. During 2005 to 2020, Dr Wong joined CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield respectively focusing on valuation and advisory services in Hong Kong. His valuation experience covers a wide spectrum of properties from general residential, office, retail, industrial developments, to development and agricultural land. And for various purposes including mortgage/financing, financial reporting, rating assessment, rent review, statutory compensation, and litigation. Examples of properties & projects Dr Wong has been involved in project assignments include: International Finance Centre (IFC), Hopewell Centre, FT Life Tower, Discovery Park Shopping Centre, and Citibank Plaza.

Dr Wong has also served as an assessor in the Assessment of Professional Competence for both the HKIS and the RICS. He is a part-time lecturer on planning and development subjects for the MSc Real Estate program of the University of Hong Kong.

Cancellation policy

UCEM Online Academy recognises that a change in circumstances can sometimes be unavoidable and that delegates who register for a scheduled event may need to withdraw or change their original registration.

If you are unable to attend this scheduled CPD course you are booked on, you may request to substitute another person to attend in your place provided you notify us in writing at academy@ucem.ac.uk at least five working days before the event.

Refunds are calculated as follows upon receipt of the written request to academy@ucem.ac.uk

·         More than 28 days before the course start date: UCEM Online Academy will retain 20% of the fees due.

·         28-14 days before the course start date: UCEM Online Academy will retain 50% of the fees due.

·         Less than 14 days before the start date: UCEM Online Academy will retain 100% of the fees due.

In the unlikely event of UCEM Online Academy withdrawing a course, all course fees paid will be refunded, however UCEM Online Academy will not be liable for any other costs or losses incurred.
